Whole broiler/fryer prices are trending steady to weak for
three pounds and heavier sizes, steady for all other sizes.
Offerings of all sizes are moderate to at times heavy for
current trade needs. Retail and food service demand are

running lighter or delayed schedules due to Hurricane Sally.

to firm, and generally steady for boneless skinless breasts
and wings. Tenders and bone-in breasts are steady to weak, and
the remainder of items are steady. Supplies of wings are light
to moderate and moving seasonally well into all channels aided
by the active sports seasons. Dark meat cuts are clearing well
with leg quarters in a slightly better position due to increased
export interest. All other items range moderate to heavy. Market
activity for parts is slow to moderate. In production areas, live
supplies are moderate to heavy. Weights are mixed, but mostly desirable.
